Abstract

The article studies the problem of the psycho-emotional state of pedagogical workers in modern realities of life. The author considers teachers from the position of the present, in difficult conditions of “survival”, caused first by social isolation in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, and then by the war. The researcher emphasizes that teachers have found themselves in a socio-psychological “abyss”, because many students have emigrated, but even more so – they have difficulties in adaptation, decreased cognitive functions, anxiety disorders and panic attacks. The author notes that against the background of a large number of negative external and internal factors, parents of schoolchildren, who are also participants in the educational process, have also experienced traumatization, and it has become very difficult to maintain partnership interaction. That is why, in the researcher’s opinion, pedagogical workers need special psychological help and support.
