Abstract

An analysis of the methodological aspects of using digital identifiers as a tool for academic visibility demonstrates their significant potential for enhancing the researcher's representation in the global scientific space. The study confirms the need for a comprehensive approach to creating a researcher's digital profile using complementary platforms: Google Scholar, ORCID, ResearcherID, and ResearchGate. Each of the tools considered has unique functional capabilities, which, when combined, provide a comprehensive representation of a researcher's academic achievements. Special attention should be paid not only to the initial creation of profiles, but also to their systematic administration, which involves verifying bibliographic data, updating keywords in line with current scientific trends, and keeping personal information up to date. Regular monitoring of digital identifiers is critical to ensuring the integrity and reliability of a scientific portfolio, in particular by removing erroneously added publications and merging duplicate bibliographic records. The implementation of the proposed methodological approaches in the practice of training postgraduate students will contribute to the formation of competencies in young scientists in the digital presentation of research results, which is an integral part of their integration into the international scientific community.
