Abstract

Using the example of the heritage of representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora of the 20th century regarding the cultivation of Ukrainian patriots-statesmen, its extraordinary relevance in the current struggle of Ukrainians with the occupiers has been proven, because educators of foreign Ukrainian youth have achieved significant success - thanks to their efforts, Ukrainians of the world do not lose their national identification, demonstrate a powerful unity with their distant Fatherland, especially now, when it is fighting the enemy. The need to use their ideas on ways to promote the purposeful formation of national-patriotic sentiments, nationally oriented civic consciousness, subordinated to national values ​​and interests, has been highlighted.
