Abstract
The problem of forming a national consensus on the model of organization of socio-political life during the war and in the post-war period of state-building is investigated. It is shown that the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022 changed people's lives, affected their worldview and world perception, the structure of value orientations, and life plans. It is emphasized that in the context of an existential threat, a high level of coincidence of assessments, the closeness of attitudes and positions regarding Russian aggression, and unanimity in choosing a model of behavior in these conditions have become key characteristics of the system of social relations, an indicator of the level of development of civil society in Ukraine. At the same time, the majority of Ukrainian citizens have demonstrated a high level of resilience, the ability to maintain psychological and physical stability in dangerous conditions and adapt to them. It is proved that the basis of this resilience, especially at the first stage of resistance to the full-scale Russian military invasion, was the rooting in the public consciousness of universal human values and orientation towards the values of democratic development, re-awareness of the weight and significance of certain vital and social values: security, freedom, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state. Awareness of the common goal and determination to achieve it, social solidarity and mutual assistance became the key to confidence in the ability to defeat the enemy. It is shown that the level of social cohesion, especially at the initial stage of resistance to a full-scale military invasion, was a convincing evidence of the strength of civil society, the ability of Ukrainians to self-organize, and to act in solidarity and coordination. Psychological and social resilience, the ability to consolidate and sacrifice, solidarity, social mobilization, self-organization and effective interaction in the face of existential threats have become characteristic features of Ukrainians and Ukrainian resistance to Russian military aggression. Unity and cohesion not only contributed to solidarity, but also became the basis for psychological resilience, adaptation to new conditions, overcoming fears and displacing negative emotions. It has been proven that Ukrainians have a fairly high level of tolerance for uncertainty. The psychological resilience of Ukrainians is enhanced by a high level of stress resistance. The tendencies of planning and predicting the future of Ukraine by its citizens are outlined. It is emphasized that the main parameters and vision of the directions of post-war revival and reconstruction of the Ukrainian state have been formed in the mass consciousness. Reaching a national consensus on the future model of socio-political life is a prerequisite for uniting Ukrainian society, supporting and developing democratic values, overcoming the consequences of the war, and building an effective system of public administration and organization of society. A common vision of the main directions and coordination of the strategy of socio-political development should become not only an ideological platform, but also a means of ensuring social interaction and unity to achieve a common goal.
