Abstract
The article presents the author’s program of psychological support for the professional transformation of educators, "Alongside Oneself", developed as an intervention tool to respond to the challenges of a crisis-affected educational environment. It is established that professional transformation in the current realities is accompanied by emotional exhaustion, role changes, and the need to construct a new professional identity. The social and psychological context is analyzed, including full-scale war, post-pandemic challenges, fatigue, and instability in the education sector. The theoretical foundations of the program are identified, combining the concepts of transformative learning, post-traumatic growth, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. The importance of Ukrainian scholarly contributions is emphasized, particularly the work of L. Karamushka (psychological support in wartime), O. Bondarchuk (teachers’ professional well-being), and O. Bryukhovetska (resourcefulness and tolerance in professional activity). The innovative nature of the program is highlighted, which includes five modules aimed at developing reflection, self-regulation, motivational engagement, cognitive flexibility, and effective social interaction. Attention is drawn to the mixed methodology of the empirical study (n = 74), which incorporates psychometric tools, self-observation, t-test, and effect size calculation. The results demonstrated statistically significant positive changes across all criteria (p < 0.001), indicating the effectiveness of the proposed intervention. The potential for integrating the program into the system of postgraduate education and adapting it to the needs of other professional groups—particularly in social, medical, and corporate sectors—is noted. The program may be considered an effective tool for psychological support during periods of professional change, in line with the current needs of the educational system.
