Abstract

Educating a citizen and a patriot is a task in the state policy of every country. In the wartime period of Ukraine, the issues of national and patriotic education, in particular military and patriotic education, become even more relevant. Civic education through civic education is a component of the state policy in the field of strengthening Ukrainian national and civic identity. The multi-vector nature of national-patriotic and civic education in the works of scholars and teachers demonstrates the importance of this educational problem. The importance of the participation of veteran soldiers in the Invictus Games, their influence on the formation and development of youth patriotism is described; the art of combat horting is characterized as an example of the development of willpower, physical skills, and readiness to face any challenges. It is noted that the experience of education at the present stage has significant achievements and a systematic approach to national and patriotic education.
