Abstract
The theses determine what influences the motivation of vocational education students. It is noted that innovative technologies have a positive effect on motivation and the learning process in general, and it is explained why. It is also determined that innovative technologies help in upbringing. It is noted that motivation to learn requires the satisfaction of the basic physiological needs of those who are learning, because they distract from learning, and how the educational institution influences or hinders the satisfaction of such needs. Attention is drawn to short-term courses as an aspect of motivation to learn, which attract with their convenience and relevance. It is mentioned that patriotic education has a positive effect on motivation to study, it is explained why. It highlights various ways of organizing learning that could increase motivation and describes factors that negatively affect motivation.
