Abstract
The main socio-psychological factors for the development of civic identity of pedagogical workers of P(P)E institutions and P(P)E applicants include: professional educational environment (shared civic values and the mission of forming civic identity, support and exchange of experience in the process of its formation, democratic management style in an educational institution, positive moral and psychological climate, involvement of teachers in civic activity, positive models of behavior of the administration and colleagues: civic responsibility, legal awareness and civic activity of teachers); personal development of the teacher (reflection and self-analysis by teachers of their own activities and their compliance with civic values, formation of civic competence, civic activity, motivation for professional and personal development, which contributes to the formation of an active civic position of the teacher); socio-cultural environment (events in society, level of civic activity of the community, state policy in the field of education).
