Abstract

The study analyses various aspects of Ukraine's integration into the European educational space, including political, economic, social, educational and cultural aspects. It is noted that the war in Ukraine has caused significant losses in the educational sector, and their consequences may be felt for many years to come. According to the author, integration into the European educational space is one of the key areas that can help overcome the negative effects of the war. The study also reveals the challenges faced by Ukrainian education, such as insufficient funding, conservatism of the system, and the need for teacher training. The paper emphasises the importance of psychological support for students who have suffered trauma due to the war and the need to introduce programmes that will promote their emotional health. It is noted that it is important to take into account the experience of other countries in implementing support programmes for first aid, psychological and pedagogical programmes to support children in crisis situations, and inclusive programmes that improve the mental health of students. The conclusions indicate that a comprehensive approach to integration, including distance learning and adaptation of educational programmes to European standards, can be a powerful tool for overcoming educational losses in Ukraine. It is emphasised that the national educational system of Ukraine is in the process of complex harmonisation and implementation of European standards and principles of educational quality. These processes will contribute to the achievement of high-quality, accessible and innovative education, as well as to the deepening of the integration of school education into the European educational space.
