Abstract

The publication raises the problem of the formation of mathematical competence in children of senior preschool age as a key factor in successful learning in primary school. The possibility of implementing the principle of continuity between preschool and primary education in accordance with the requirements of the Basic Component of Preschool Education is substantiated. The educational and methodological kit "Mathematical Start" is presented, designed to ensure the formation of logical and mathematical skills in children through game, research and practical activities.
