Abstract
The article examines the specific features of developing scientific literacy in students within the framework of the New Ukrainian School (NUS) Concept. The importance of integrating both knowledge-based and activity-based components is emphasized, alongside the use of project-based and STEM-oriented tasks and the implementation of modern digital resources. Particular attention is paid to formative and summative assessment as tools for promoting conscious learning. The article also highlights the role of professional support for teachers as a key factor in the successful implementation of the competency-based approach.
