Abstract

The section highlights the process of modernizing the system of profile training in Ukraine as part of the overall transformation of the contemporary educational environment. Emphasis is placed on the growing role of senior school profile differentiation in shaping a competitive graduate capable of making conscious professional choices and achieving self-realization in a constantly changing world. The focus is on the need to develop a flexible, adaptive model of profile training that not only considers pupils' individual interests, abilities, and inclinations, but also meets the current demands of the labor market and societal expectations. Within the framework of the study, the main theoretical approaches to the implementation of profile education in Ukraine, developed since the early 2000s, were analyzed. Additionally, practical experience in integrating general secondary and vocational training was summarized. The conducted SWOT analysis revealed the strengths of profile training, in particular, the internal potential of educational institutions to create conditions for building individual educational trajectories for each learner. At the same time, a number of internal constraints were identified that significantly hinder the effective implementation of profile training, including the shortage of qualified personnel, insufficient methodological support, and limited material and technical resources. External challenges, such as socio-economic changes, demographic trends, and security threats, highlight the urgent need for the implementation of flexible educational policies, modernization of management approaches, and the establishment of intersectoral cooperation to maintain the quality and accessibility of profile education.
