Abstract

The article reveals the essence of the concept of professional competence and emphasizes the importance of its formation in future mechanics of motor transport. The specifics of this process in the context of informatization of vocational education are described. The article considers the methodological and content aspects of the application of an interdisciplinary educational project in the professional training of future qualified workers in the road transport industry. It is substantiated that the implementation of projects involves setting search tasks of interest to students, group learning activities, teacher consultations, joint presentation of results and feedback.
