Abstract

This methodological guide outlines the theoretical and methodological foundations for diagnosing factors contributing to the development of giftedness. It presents key principles for identifying giftedness and assessing the determinants of its development. The guide describes the identification of giftedness development trends in children and adolescents within general secondary education institutions, in the broader context of interactions between social elites and various sociopolitical systems. Special attention is given to the specifics of identifying giftedness and diagnosing its developmental factors within the educational process. The content and structure of these factors are detailed according to different types of giftedness. This guide is intended for school psychologists, educators, educational institution staff working with gifted children and youth, as well as researchers, postgraduate students, university students, and instructors in psychological and pedagogical disciplines.
