Abstract
Modern approaches to training teachers to implement STEM education in high schools have been analyzed. The effectiveness of various forms of self-educational activities of teachers, in particular trainings, educational seminars and project activities, which contribute to the formation of professional competence and the ability to implement an interdisciplinary approach in the educational process, has been studied.
