Abstract
The STEM-oriented approach is characterized as a paradigm of modern Ukrainian education, and the didactic principles underlying this approach are substantiated. Forms of organization, types of learning activities, techniques and tools of instructional work under the STEM approach in gymnasiums are analyzed, along with the methodological organization of the educational process. A methodology for implementing STEM education technologies in gymnasiums is proposed, based on an interdisciplinary integrated STEM course for grades 5–9. Additionally, an integrative toolkit for the scientific and methodological support of developing teachers’ psychological readiness for innovative activity in the context of STEM technologies is presented. The publication is intended for gymnasium teachers, in-service teacher training institute participants, and students of higher pedagogical education institutions.
