Abstract
The article considers the possibilities of integrating STEM/STREAM education into applied linguistics. Modern approaches to combining linguistic and technological disciplines are analyzed, and the advantages of such an approach for the development of interdisciplinary competencies are outlined. Practical recommendations are proposed for the implementation of STEM/STREAM elements into applied linguistics curricula. The object of the study is the process of integrating STEM/STREAM education into applied linguistics. The subject of the study is methods, approaches and tools for integrating STEM/STREAM education into applied linguistics. The purpose of the study: to determine effective ways of integrating STEM/STREAM education into applied linguistics to improve the quality of teaching and develop interdisciplinary competencies. The task of the study: to analyze existing approaches to integration and determine effective methods of using STEM/STREAM in the educational process of future applied linguists.
