Abstract

Media education has been actively developing in Ukraine over the past 15 years, responding to new challenges facing society and education. The Concept for Implementing Media Education, approved in 2010 and revised in 2016, defined the main directions of development of the media education system and ensured the unification of the media education community. The next five-year period for the development of media education in Ukraine is reflected in the Concept of Digital Media Education for the Military and Post-War Society (hereinafter - the Concept). Digital media education involves combining modern trends in media literacy and media culture of the individual with the processes of digitalization of education and society based on the development of the latest technologies.
