Abstract

The analytical report reveals the state of practice and prospects for research-based teaching of history in secondary education institutions. The analytical report is based on the results of an online survey of history teachers. The survey data also allowed the authors to identify the main problems that arise during the implementation of the research approach in history teaching and to identify issues that need to be addressed in methodological literature. The results of the study allowed the authors to formulate methodological recommendations for teachers, curriculum developers, and authors of history textbooks.
