Abstract
An informational analysis of legislative acts in the field of education and pedagogical science of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland in 2005-2024 was carried out based on the materials of the scientific and auxiliary bibliographic index “Education and Pedagogical Science of Ukraine and Poland. 2005–2024” The article focuses on the development of legal acts on support of Ukrainian citizens in the Republic of Poland as a result of the armed conflict of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The peculiarities of the development of adaptive mechanisms for Ukrainian students of pre-school and secondary education, researchers and teachers in the educational space of the Republic of Poland, introduced in 2022–2024, are investigated. The systemic element of the legislation of the Republic of Poland is the Law “On Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine in connection with the Armed Conflict on the Territory of Ukraine”, adopted on 12 March 2022. The review of the amendments to the Law of the Republic of Poland “On Higher Education and Science” contributed to the regulation of the process of academic mobility, integration of Ukrainian researchers into joint research programmes and projects, and the possibility of continuing education without the need for nostrification of diplomas. The importance of international agreements between the two countries aimed at mutual recognition of educational qualifications has been established. The importance of the legislative initiatives of the Republic of Poland in the field of education is emphasised as a key factor in the social adaptation of Ukrainian citizens, ensuring their rights to education and academic development in difficult conditions of forced migration. The bibliographic database of bibliographic sources of regulatory and legislative acts presented in the bibliographic publication covers and specifies other significant legislative processes related to the development of education and pedagogical science in Ukraine and the Republic of Poland.
