Abstract

The theses highlight the features of providing psychological assistance in wartime. The concept of «post-traumatic stress disorder» is revealed, its signs and characteristics are given. The manifestations of post-traumatic stress disorder in children and the main signs that determine the presence of post-traumatic stress disorder in adults are determined. A description of psychological assistance and its classification are given. Psychological assistance can be classified according to various criteria: by time of action, by direction, by spatial organization, by the performance of functions by the psychologist, by the number of participants, by the nature of the psychologist's intervention.
