Abstract

The information and analytical materials cover the state of employment of graduates of vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions in the context of current socio-economic challenges. The key trends affecting youth employment, including demographic changes, labour market transformation, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequences of a full-scale war in Ukraine, are considered. Particular attention is paid to the problems of the mismatch between the education received and the requirements of employers, insufficient interaction between educational institutions and business, as well as changes in the educational orientations of young people. The issues of graduate migration abroad, trends in the development of dual education and the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process are covered. The publication will be useful for scientists, educators, representatives of educational authorities, employers and all those interested in the development of vocational education in Ukraine.
