Abstract
Sweden’s unique approach to ensuring the sustainability of student learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is examined. Unlike most countries that have switched to distance learning, Sweden kept primary schools open, which avoided significant educational losses. Sweden’s experience highlights the importance of continuity of the educational process to support academic achievement and can be useful for improving education policy in Ukraine.
