Abstract
The article explores the state of scientific education in Ukraine and the readiness of secondary schools and extracurricular institutions to implement its practices. Scientific education is recognized as a crucial element in modern society, particularly in preparing students for an uncertain global environment. The study highlights the role of the Institute of Gifted Child of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine in promoting specialized science-oriented education. Despite ongoing efforts to modernize the educational system, challenges such as limited teacher preparedness, resource shortages, and the impact of war hinder effective implementation. The research includes an analysis of educational standards, teacher surveys, and expert interviews to assess the state of scientific education. Key recommendations emphasize teacher training, the development of innovative educational models, and international cooperation to strengthen Ukraine’s scientific education system.
