Abstract

Due to prolonged hostilities, the number of families and children who have lost loved ones continues to increase. The prevalence and devastating consequences of childhood trauma and grief require targeted and widespread psychosocial care and psychoeducation aimed at reducing the risk of maladaptive grief. We currently lack sufficient methods to assist families and children who have suffered trauma and loss. However, such methods will probably never be enough.
