Abstract
The manual is the first in a series of publications "Family and education: strategies of interaction" aimed at increasing the professional competence of educators on the role of the family in the development of education, which was prepared by the team of the communication psychology department of the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Attention is focused on those issues that became evident in the conditions of a full-scale war and will gain more and more importance in the post-war society. The family is considered as the subject of the child's educational process, called to play a leading role in the formation of public opinion regarding the reform and development of education. It is addressed to education managers, psychologists, teachers, social pedagogues, parents, students and teachers of higher education institutions, as well as a wide range of people interested in the democratic development of education in Ukraine.
