Abstract

The publication presents an analysis of the results of a study of the hierarchical structure of family values of Ukrainians, taking into account the socio-demographic characteristics of respondents, in particular: gender, education, region of residence, as well as the level of war-related stress. The research was carried out during January - May 2023. It was established that gender characteristics, educational level of the spouses, as well as the environment of growth (small homeland) are of significant importance in the formation and establishment of the hierarchy of family values of the married couple. It has been proven that the subjective assessment of the level of stress in the emergency conditions of war has a statistically significant relationship with the hierarchy of family values of spouses, where the following are key: social activity, identification with a partner, emotional-psychotherapeutic and parental-educational spheres of family life. It has been established that in order to conduct comparative studies on the distribution of family values of spouses from different regions of Ukraine, it is important to apply ethnographic classifications of zoning.
