Abstract
The article analyzes the essence, content and peculiarities of the formation of environmental values of students, in particular, socio-economic professions. The article discusses the theoretical and methodological foundations of this process, identifies the key factors influencing the development of environmental awareness, and offers practical recommendations for teachers on the effective implementation of environmental values in the educational process. It is noted that the term "environmental values" is defined as a system of personal beliefs, attitudes and motives aimed at realizing the importance of nature, responsibility for its preservation and active participation in solving environmental problems. It is proved that the content of environmental values includes knowledge, attitudes and behavioral manifestations that ensure harmonious relations between humans and nature. The cognitive, emotional, value and behavioral components of environmental values of students of socio-economic professions are distinguished. The main features of the process of forming the environmental values of students include professional orientation, the use of innovative teaching methods, an axiological approach, and a socio-cultural context. It has been established that values are formed at the intersection of several methodological approaches: axiological, cultural, competence, and psychological. The peculiarities of the formation of environmental values in students of socio-economic professions include professional orientation to work with people, the value component of learning, a multidisciplinary approach, psychological characteristics of students, and the use of interactive learning technologies. Recommendations for the effective implementation of environmental values in the educational process of educational institutions have been developed, in particular, the integration of environmental content into academic disciplines, involvement in volunteer environmental projects, organization of environmental trainings and seminars, introduction of digital technologies, use of interactive teaching methods, environmental monitoring, motivation, and pedagogical example.
