Abstract
Education seekers' awareness that thematic assessment is the basis for quick corrective work on solving educational problems and difficulties in order to prevent their accumulation in time creates prerequisites for increasing the degree of independence of schoolchildren. Assessment of educational achievements of students should be based on their confidence that this type of activity is a mechanism for gathering information about their competence, and not a "verdict of ignorance".
