Abstract

Pedagogical activity is an important component of the education quality assurance system. Assessment of the professional activity of pedagogical workers includes attestation and certification. The purpose of attestation is to stimulate a purposeful continuous improvement of the level of professional competence of pedagogical workers, the growth of their professional skills, the development of creative initiative, increasing prestige and authority, and ensuring the effectiveness of the educational process. Based on the results of attestation, the correspondence of the pedagogical worker to the position held is determined, qualification categories and pedagogical titles are assigned. The purpose of certification is to identify and encourage pedagogical workers with a high level of pedagogical skills who possess competency-based learning methods and new educational technologies and contribute to their dissemination. Advantages of certification: helps to increase the prestige of the pedagogical profession; stimulates the use of innovative approaches in teaching; provides an opportunity to gain recognition among colleagues and management. Assessment of the professional activities of teachers is of great importance for the education system, in particular, it improves the quality of education - the results of certification determine those who implement modern technologies, effective methods and demonstrate high results in education. Secondly, it forms a professional community - certification and certification stimulate the exchange of experience, creating conditions for a professional community. Thirdly, it promotes innovation - teachers who undergo certification become agents of change, introducing new ideas into the educational process. It should be noted that certification and certification emphasize the importance of the teaching profession, motivate for professional growth and create a positive image of the teacher in society.
