Abstract

The peculiarities of the Ukrainian labor market indicate the predominance of vacancies for qualified workers, who are trained primarily by institutions of professional (vocational and technical) education. Their main task is to form professional competencies of education seekers in the process of both professional-theoretical and professional-practical training. The formation of competencies is the main result of education seekers' training - the formation of their knowledge, skills, abilities, ways of thinking, views, values, other personal qualities acquired in the process of training, upbringing and development, which can be identified, planned, assessed and measured and which the education seeker is able to demonstrate after completing the educational program or individual educational components.
