Abstract

The publication highlights the factors that complicate the process of developing writing skills in Grade 1 pupils. Attention is focused on the importance of taking into account age-related psychological peculiarities, physiological capabilities and health of pupils. The types of exercises and other activities that will help prevent difficulties in learning to write are presented.
