Abstract
In the modern conditions of social and economic transformations, the successful solution of key problems largely depends on the professionalism of teachers. The educational environment offers a wide range of methods and technologies, promoting the disclosure of the creative potential of teachers, but requiring high competence and efficiency. Of particular importance are competitions of pedagogical excellence, which help to identify, support and popularize best practices, as well as stimulate professional development and strengthen the social status of the teacher. Expert evaluation of competition projects provides valuable feedback that helps improve the educational and methodological base. The purpose of the study is to analyze and evaluate competitive developments of teachers for the implementation of STEM and STEAM-approaches, as well as to study the most effective methods of teaching talented youth in the context of STEM/STEAM-education. In the context of scientific and technological progress, the task of developing students’ competencies for adapting to dynamic conditions, developing critical thinking and working in interdisciplinary teams is becoming relevant. STEM- and STEAM-methodologies are aimed at solving these problems through the integration of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and art into the educational process.
