Abstract

The report contains the results of a study conducted to assess the use of SMART complexes in vocational and professional higher education institutions in Ukraine. The study was conducted through an online survey of pedagogical staff in November-December 2024, with a total of 4645 respondents. The questionnaire included questions about the experience of implementing SMART complexes in the educational process, their use in crisis conditions, and the specifics of teachers' work with digital tools. The purpose of the study was to assess the level of integration of SMART complexes into the educational process, identify the main barriers to their implementation, identify the needs for professional development of teachers and assess the impact of SMART complexes on the personalised learning pace of students. The data collection methodology included the use of Google Forms for an online survey, which allowed us to obtain a wide range of information about teachers' experiences and challenges in using digital technologies. The report covers data on the level of use of SMART complexes in education, the impact on the pace of learning, the resilience of the educational process in the face of power outages and air raids, barriers to the introduction of digital tools, and the implementation of aspects of the Vocational Education 4.0 concept in educational institutions. This dataset is important for the development of digital tools in vocational and professional higher education, as well as for identifying strategies for professional development of teachers. The publication is intended for pedagogical staff of vocational and professional higher education institutions, as well as for researchers, developers and implementers of digital technologies in education. It can be useful for organisations involved in the professional development of teaching staff, educational administrations, policy makers working on education reforms, and researchers studying the impact of digital tools on the educational process.
