When identifying the state of readiness of high school students for professional self-determination, the following indicators were taken into account: high school students' knowledge of their individual and psychological characteristics, their adequate self-assessment; knowledge about the world of professions, about the process of professional self-determination; a positive attitude to building a professional career, to study and work as a prerequisite for professional self-development; the desire to choose a future profession in accordance with one's personal self-determination; striving for self-improvement; the ability to correlate the suitability of the chosen profession with one's own individual and psychological characteristics, to regulate one's behavior in order to achieve a professional goal. Using the above indicators and using a complex of interrelated diagnostic methods, three levels of readiness for professional self-determination among high school students were characterized: high, medium, low.
