Abstract
The need to strengthen family connections, in particular the need for socio-pedagogical support for the formation of family-oriented expectations of modern students, is actualized by a number of factors, namely: the presence of destructive educational function of the modern family, which is on the verge of different value concepts and moral ideals, the blurring of established educational traditions, a decrease in parental responsibility, growing alienation between parents and children, the growth of consumerism among children and youth, the level of aggression among them, the assimilation of a certain part of children All this is happening against the background of a full-scale war started by the aggressor country, which has undoubtedly had a negative impact on all aspects of Ukrainian life. A number of trends are highlighted that are directly related to structural changes in the modern Ukrainian family and determine the nature of its educational influences, the specifics of the content, methods and forms of education and directly affect the family-oriented expectations of modern student youth, namely: the increase in the number of divorces; approaching a new model of age-related fertility (late fertility, postponing it until the time when the family (woman) acquires economic independence; departure from official relationships; increase in the number of nuclear families; lack of ideas about modern social adaptive strategies among adult family members; no the ability of a certain part of parents in modern Ukrainian society to establish full-fledged parent-child relationships, the spread of family violence, etc. The article considers the readiness of a young person for future family life as a psychological phenomenon that covers an integral set of qualities that combines the availability of knowledge, skills and abilities in family pedagogy, the basics of reproductive culture, a positive attitude to future family life, a conscious awareness of responsibility for the effective performance of marital and parental roles, which ensure the future ability of a young person to consciously plan future family life and the birth of children. It is generalised that the state of the modern family, which has both direct and indirect influence on the formation of family values and family-oriented expectations of students, is characterised by increased psychological stress, an increase in the number of stressful situations, the rejection of conventional values and the emergence of new, sometimes unreasonable and unstable ones.
