Abstract

The monograph substantiates the socio-psychological content of the emergence and development of the "Ukrainian world" – a mental construct that encompasses a variety of processes and phenomena of the collective life of individuals and communities that perceive themselves differently as Ukrainians and Ukrainian. The main psychological coordinates of the Ukrainian world are recognized as community identities and value orientations of its carriers, ideas about territorial boundaries, psychological prerequisites for creation, content components and structural dichotomies, speech practices, and vision of prospects. The cardinal impact of the "Russian world" and the Russian-Ukrainian war on the past, present, and future of the Ukrainian world is assessed. Intended for scientists, teachers, and students of social psychology and related fields.
