Abstract
Modern science is at the crossroads of the digital revolution, which is significantly transforming research methods, information exchange, and collaboration between scientists. This article explores the role of digital tools in shaping new approaches to scientific research. Key aspects such as the use of artificial intelligence, big data, automated analysis systems, and scientific information management platforms are discussed. Particular attention is paid to the ethical challenges that arise in digital ecosystems, including issues of privacy, scientific integrity, and the impact of algorithmic bias. The study emphasizes the importance of open science, digital collaboration platforms, and innovative technologies such as blockchain and quantum computing for the development of the science of the future. This paper offers a holistic overview of the benefits and limitations of the digitalization of scientific activity and provides insights into how virtual ecosystems affect the search for truth and the creation of new knowledge in various disciplines. The topic “Digital Compass of a Scientist: Search for Truth in Virtual Ecosystems” is devoted to the analysis of the role of digital tools and platforms in modern scientific activity. Particular attention is paid to the possibilities of using virtual ecosystems to develop, test, and popularize scientific ideas. This topic addresses the following: methods of searching, analyzing and verifying information in large amounts of digital data; ethical challenges associated with the use of digital resources; the impact of artificial intelligence algorithms on the process of knowledge generation; and opportunities for collaboration through scientific platforms and social networks. The study also emphasizes the importance of developing digital literacy among scientists for effective navigation in virtual environments. The theme emphasizes the need to maintain a balance between technological innovations and traditional scientific methods in the search for truth.
