Abstract
The article reveals the relevance and importance of forming leadership qualities of gifted students, in particular soft skills, which largely provide high-quality communicative relationships, personal influence, team-work, etc. that ensures successful leadership. The results of a study of communicative and organizational tendencies, as well as the degree of socialization of high school students (compared to indicators for the specified qualities of students of a lyceum and a regular secondary education institution) are presented. Convincing arguments are given in favour of creating school hubs as an accessible educational resource for forming lead-ership qualities of gifted students. The presence of hubs is not new for Ukraine. Hubs, opened earlier, were centres for meetings and organizng activities based on interests or directed volunteer activities. As time has shown, educational hubs are also in demand and very attractive for participants in the educational process as a place where activities are not burdened by the connotation of obligation. The school hub should be different not only functionally as a place of events for students, but also organizationally – as a place where the main initiative belongs to the students. It is in this aspect of the functioning of the school hub that the initiative of a gifted student-leader can fully manifest itself – from the idea to its implementation and presentation of the results. This can be any action proposed, organized and carried out by students. It is in such activities that a gifted child feels capable of independent, “adult” actions, gets rid of infantilism, from the very beginning takes responsibility for himself, which forms the core of subjectivity. It is in the self-organization of a group of like-minded people, and a little later - followers and a leader, that interpersonal relationships are formed that ensure successful teamwork, and later – the achievement of socially significant goals. It is mentioned about educational partnership, which is currently a relevant means of solving educational problems of a socio-pedagogical and socio-cultural nature.
