Abstract

The publication highlights the factors that influence the dynamics of writing skills development in junior pupils; age and psychophysiological features that make it difficult to master writing; methods and types of tasks for the development of graphic skills and writing techniques, spelling vigilance; the main types of work on teaching writing in the primary course of the Ukrainian language, as well as ways to activate students' learning and cognitive activity.
