Abstract
The theses highlight the European experience of the functioning of a specialized school on the example of France and outline the possibilities of its use in Ukraine. An important feature of professional education in France is a wide range of areas and specializations that can be chosen by students, the possibility of changing specialization during the first years of study within the profile, as well as inter-professional integration. The study of the experience of the formation of directions and the combination of specializations is relevant in the context of the development of a national specialized school and the formation of a network of academic and professional lyceums.
