Abstract

The model educational program "STEM" (hereinafter - the Program) was developed in accordance with the State standard of basic secondary education, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 30, 2020. No. 898 and the Model Educational Program approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated February 19, 2021. No. 225. The program is aimed at implementing the principle of variability, which involves planning the educational process in accordance with material and technical and personnel support, age characteristics of students and their interests. For this purpose, the Program is built according to the modular principle and two forms of introducing STEM technology into the educational process of grades 5-9 of general secondary education institutions are proposed.
