Abstract

The target function of higher education coincides with the goal of society to train highly qualified specialists, shaping the personality of a higher education student, influencing his or her intellectual, moral, aesthetic and physical development. Future specialists may change several jobs during their lives. Society produces new technologies, new knowledge is constantly emerging, without the use of which the activities of specialists will not be effective. A person of the XXI century is a person who is constantly learning. Humanity is moving towards a new quality of social development The process of education in higher education should be organized in such a way that higher education students receive not only the necessary knowledge and acquire skills, but also learn about the possibilities of information and analytical support of scientific activity as a component of the educational process and a means of mastering the information resource of society.
