Abstract

The initiative of the European Commission "European Education Area" (European Education Area), which helps EU member states to jointly build more sustainable and inclusive education and training systems, is analyzed. In accordance with this, the main directions of foresight development of the European educational space are highlighted, in particular: improving the quality and justice in education and training, rethinking and updating the professional framework of teachers and school leaders, digital education, green education, the European educational space in the world. It was established that in Ukraine, the reform of the educational system, its transformation into an effective educational model in accordance with European and global public demands is at the main stage. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine increased the load on the national education system, but this did not hinder its development, reform and integration into the European and world educational community. The integration of national education into the international educational space is defined as one of the principles of state policy in the field of education.
