Abstract

The article examines the activities of the academic group curator in wartime, reveals the importance of the curator in the educational process of a modern university and for higher education students in particular. More than ever, in wartime, the closest link between the leadership and the student is the curator of the academic group. It is emphasized that a teacher-curator should have authority, be characterized by high moral qualities, have a certain level of pedagogical and organizational skills and professional ability to provide a positive educational impact on higher education students. The purpose is to highlight the activities of the academic group curator and its features under martial law, to characterize the approaches, priorities, information and analytical support of these activities. It is noted that the curator of an academic group can create comfortable organizational and pedagogical conditions for students to adapt to a new team, features and conditions of the educational process from the standpoint of facilitation interaction and their pedagogical experience, using an arsenal of forms and methods of educational work, carrying out their activities in the conditions of war and psychological crisis of many subjects of the educational process. The article describes the approaches, priorities, information and analytical support of the academic group curator's activities in the wartime period. A comparative characterization of the educational purpose of the educational process in higher education institutions in the early twenty-first century and in the wartime period of Ukraine is presented. The theoretical value lies in the patriotic and spiritual and cultural dominance in education aimed at forming a responsible personality that cherishes love for the Motherland and the desire to protect and preserve it, spiritual and cultural values, and is capable of self-education and self-development. The practical value is that the curator promotes the participation of students of the academic group in educational activities aimed at national and patriotic education and historical memory, personal development and protection of mental health; uses information and analytical support to organize effective educational activities. A priori, in times of war, an important part of educational influence is measures aimed at protecting the mental health of the subjects of the educational process, both students and teachers.
