Abstract
The question of psychological mechanisms of learning, student motivation and factors influencing the success of the educational process is now quite important. This is primarily due to the fact that students must have enough incentives for learning and all conditions must be provided so that students of educational institutions strive for knowledge and feel comfortable. In particular, in modern conditions, it is not enough to simply present theoretical material and explain its practical significance, but it is worth understanding what motivates the student to study and what prevents it. Awareness of these processes makes it possible to qualitatively improve the educational process and meet all the needs of students. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to an inclusive educational environment. Yes, students of special classes who have certain disabilities also need to provide special conditions to improve educational conditions. At the same time, it is important to realize what motivates such children to study, what hinders them, and what, on the contrary, they would improve, since the needs of such students are different from the needs of students in general classes. All this leads to the need to conduct a study that would reveal the psychological mechanisms of learning, the motivation of students, as well as factors affecting the success of the educational process. Accordingly, it was determined that it is necessary to compare the needs and motives of children studying in general and special classes. The article is devoted to the study of psychological mechanisms of learning, student motivation and factors affecting the success of the educational process. The psychological mechanisms of learning are described, in particular, reflective, feedback, stereotypic. The factors affecting the success of the educational process are determined. The motivation of students of general and special classes is characterized. The place of the level of self-esteem in the desire of students to study is considered. A study of learning mechanisms, student motivation and factors affecting the success of the educational process among students of grades 5-11 at the school "School of I-III degrees No. 134 of the city of Kyiv" was conducted. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed and relevant conclusions were drawn.
