Abstract
The theses describe the results of research on teaching the STEM course in grades 5-6. In the process of research, we proved the feasibility of the STEM course in the context of propaedeutics of natural sciences, in particular physics. In addition, it forms new approaches to the interaction between the disciplines of the natural and mathematical cycle, technologies, preparing students to solve real-world problems. The proposed projects may not always have been successful, but such failures created an excellent environment for the development of critical thinking, research skills, creativity and collaboration, because all great scientists and inventors achieved success by learning from failures.
