Abstract
Intercultural teacher exchange programs such as Erasmus+ play a key role in improving the quality of education in the European Union. They contribute to the development of intercultural competence, innovative teaching approaches and professional growth of teachers. These initiatives shape the European educational space, providing equal access to knowledge and reducing the gap between the educational systems of different countries. The study emphasizes the importance of national mobility programs that complement pan-European initiatives, ensuring the integration of secondary education and expanding opportunities for teachers through cultural exchange and improving teaching practice. The analysis of programs such as Pädagogischer Austauschdienst (Germany), Jules Verne Program (France) and others demonstrates their impact on improving teaching methods and developing cultural understanding.
