Abstract

Ukrainian life has radically changed after February 2022, which concerns both civilian and professional transformations. At the same time, two spaces “before” and “after” began to exist. What was familiar to most Ukrainians ceased to exist. The educational space has changed, like all other spheres of life. Educators and students have become many times more in need of psychological support in the context of developing resilience and adaptability. The quality of education has begun to determine not only the number of tasks that need to be completed under any conditions, but also, above all, the creation of comfortable, safe communication between students and teachers, students and lecturers. A careful attitude towards experiencing war in the life (biographical) experience, sometimes tragic, of each participant in the educational process is a determining factor in the feeling of security and motivation to study. The basic and determining factor has become the awareness that currently the sense of security of Ukrainians has been violated and careful, “understanding”, individual socio-psychological support is needed to restore it. Right now, educators must consider that, in addition to the transfer and assimilation of academic knowledge, there is an urgent need for the presence of an adult who will unite, accompany, and provide security.
