Abstract

An analysis of the results of monitoring the readiness and needs of teachers to use digital tools for professional activities is presented. The results of a survey of teachers in 2024, conducted jointly by the Institute for Digitalization of Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the State Scientific Institution "Institute for Modernization of Educational Content", are analyzed. The purpose of the survey was to identify public opinion of educators on the readiness to use online tools and tools to ensure distance learning of students, to identify educational resources, electronic learning tools that are in greatest demand among teachers, and to identify the level of their digital competence. The generalized data on the results of self-assessment by pedagogical workers of digital competence in 2023 and 2924 are presented. The results of educators' responses on the organization of distance learning during martial law are presented. The conclusions and recommendations provided as a result of the survey will contribute to the effective implementation of tools and technologies for monitoring teachers' readiness to use ICT by education authorities, institutions and institutions for advanced training of teachers, general secondary education institutions, scientific institutions, and other stakeholders.
